DPA is a family business that we originally started as a hobby run from a home office. Working in the photographic industry in sales and with the onset of the digital photographic revolution, we were able to create photographic images from a home studio, without the need for a darkroom and those stinking chemicals!
It didn’t take long for us to receive our first request to print a local photographer’s images onto canvas for an exhibition.
We decided to offer photo to canvas printing services to the photo lab I worked in and it proved popular, providing wholesale services to many other labs around Melbourne.
Word got out about our great quality and service and we were soon sending our canvas prints all over Australia.
We soon outgrew the home office, and ventured to our current location in Bayswater North. Over the next 10 years we fine tuned our canvas products to be the best available on the market today.
We have kept the same ideals “Quality and service” to become a leader in the industry, and expanded our range to include Acrylic, Glass and foam mounts as well as framing and stretching services.
The future is looking bright as we diversify into other areas such as custom photo Wallpaper and Glass feature walls / splashbacks.
